This Large Papaya Consists of a very sweet and juicy inner reddish flesh which is soft & buttery when ripe.
The seeds are bitter and are not usually not eaten although they still can be dried and put to other culinary uses.
This variety is extremely large and can be up to 6 times the size of a regular papaya and weighs between 1.5-2.5kg , usually available during Spring to Summer.
Provides a good source of: Vitamin A, Vitamin C & Folate.
